I am a physiologist having a keen interest in unravelling the neurophysiological underpinnings of thoughts, moods and memory that enrich our inner life and upon tripped manifest in various forms of Neuropsychiatric disorders. After completing my MBBS, I enrolled myself into the residency course in Physiology at Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, an institute of national importance under the government of India. Currently, I’m working as a Clinical Research Training Program fellow and non PG senior resident at Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi and a PhD resident in Psychiatry at NIMHANS, Bengaluru. My research interests include corollary discharge and source monitoring anomalies in schizophrenia, non-invasive brain stimulation and application of quantitative electroencephalography in studying psychiatric illness.
