I am Co Principal Investigator in the Clinical Research Centre for neuromodulation in psychiatry working at CIP, Ranchi. I did Psychiatry Residency training at Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi and I am looking after the respective departments in various capacities at the same Institute since 2007. My research interests include Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Clinical and experimental Neuromodulation, Brain Plasticity in Psychiatric Disorders and Cognitive Neurosciences. I am also looking after the academics and examination section at CIP, Ranchi since 2017 and a programme coordinator for CIP Digital Academy since 2018. I have mentored/guided more than 50 post graduate research mostly in the field of Brain Stimulation and Cognitive Neurosciences. Currently I am guiding 09 post graduate thesis/dissertations in mental health and neurosciences including PhD particularly in the field of Cognitive Neurosciences and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Apart from this I am nodal officer/convenor/member secretary in key areas of the functioning of the Institute including Ethics Committee, DRC, Mental Health Care Act Implementation Committee and also involved in policy development and key persons in developing projects including redevelopment of the Institute, development of fMRI Centre and Emergency Psychiatry services.
