I am a Faculty, Department of Neurophysiology, NIMHANS. I did a post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology from the University of Toronto, PhD from NIMHANS, Bangalore, MD from JIPMER, Pondicherry, MBBS from Government Medical College, Mysore. My research interests include Clinical Neurophysiology to understand the intracortical and basal ganglia-motor cortical circuits using non-invasive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and deep brain stimulation in patients with movement or mood disorders to treat their medical conditions effectively and explore the neurobiological effects of neuromodulation. I used non-invasive brain stimulation (TMS) as an investigative tool to understand the motor cortical circuits as well as treat patients with mood disorders using repetitive TMS during my above-mentioned research experiences as PhD student, post-doc scholar, and currently as faculty
